Overview
The CDCMP course comprises a comprehensive program
that explores and addresses all the various elements
associated with managing a data centre ¡V from
understanding basic design principles and the
physical infrastructure, to project management
strategies and clear understanding the latest
auditing tools.
Regulations and codes of practice are examined
in detail with case studies utilised to demonstrate
what constitutes best practice. Continually updated
to reflect the key industry developments, the
CDCMP also takes into account the requirements
of the latest version of the EU Code of Conduct
on Data Centre Energy Efficiency plus other current
Best Practices and accreditations.

Course
Structure
The CDCMP course is classroom based with numerous
case study exercises and led by one of CNet Training¡¦s
expert instructors.
It is divided into the following two units that
can be taken independently in the following sequence:
Core
Unit (Enrollment
Fee: HK$17,500)
This three-day course covers the essential elements
of data centre management including design strategies
and principles, project management delivery and
managing the data centre with the use of applicable
management tools.
After completing the Core Unit delegates are awarded
a CPD completion certificate granted by CNet Training.
Advanced
Professional Unit
(Enrollment Fee: HK25,190)
This four-day course comprises an in-depth analysis
of the vital elements of data centre management
¡V physical infrastructure components, business,
operational and supporting strategies, compliance
(National & International) and auditing. Topics
such as management of processes, people and plant,
business and IT strategies, and legislation and
regulations are all covered.
Passing
the Exams
As well as achieving the prestigious CDCMP certification
delegates will receive the Level 5 BTEC Advanced
Professional Award in Data Centre Management.
3 Year Re-certification
of the CDCMP
This cannot commence until after a 24month period
has passed holding the CDCMP credential. You then
have a 12 month period in which to re-certify.
However you can book the re-certification at anytime
after a 24 month period has passed of holding
the CDCMP credential.
